Sherwood Foundation School

We are an all age foundation special school which consists of three campuses. Our campuses are: Sherwood Park Campus and Sherwood Manor Campus both in Wallington and Sherwood Hill Campus in Carshalton.

I hope you find all the information you were looking for on our website, but obviously, nothing replaces visiting our school to experience for yourself, our school that we are so proud of.  

As a school community we believe we are “driven by our values, progressive in our thinking, collaborative in our approach” and I hope that every interaction you have with us will support this claim.

Our Learners have unique strengths and differences in their learning needs and these are reflected in our approaches and learning pathways which you will find on this site. 

The wellbeing of our pupils comes first for us because we know that without feeling safe, valued and happy, nobody learns to their potential – and numerous success stories of where ensuring a learner’s wellbeing has opened the door to huge learning and achievement.  For many of our learners, developing skills, advocacy and communication related to maintaining their wellbeing does form a large part of their curriculum.

As Ofsted said when they visited, “Breaking the Mould” for us is not just a slogan, it is practice woven into the fabric of our school’s culture which carries us on in our ambition for our whole school community.
